Mrs. Sultana Nurjahan Rosy is Director of Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce Industry. She is the founder member of the Women Entrepreneurs. She represents Bangladesh in many overseas business events. She expressed her gratitude to Mrs. Monowara Hakim AliPresident, Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce Industries (CWCCI) for her leading role to promoting and supporting women entrepreneurs in the country including herself. She also expressed her satisfaction for the support from family members, friends and Women Chambers during her entrepreneurship journey.

Bangladesh was a conservative country and women was not allowed to do business at the time while she started business. Removing those challenged situation with courage and struggle, this charismatic business leader established her business in multi-sector and create employment opportunities specially for underprivileged women of the city.

Mrs. Sultana Nurjahan Rosy, Chairman, Tajnur Group initially started her micro enterprise relating to food processing from a room of her bunglow and supply door to door through some underprivileged women. She also start a sewing unit with block, boutique, screen print, hand painting, embroidery on local traditional cloth in another room of her bunglow. Through her operational skills and hard work her food processing and fashion house business grow up faster. She established companies in fashion production house in Tajnur Boutique, Meah Bibi and in food sector Tajnur Food Products, Tajnur Tea, Tajnur Agro. Tajnu Sea Food, Mr. Makers (Catering), Tajnur Frozen Food. She also become involved other trading and service sectoral business such as Tajnur Trade International, Globe Shipping. She is Director of a hospital and educational institute. In food processing business there are more than 300 workers are working in two shifts and in fashion house more than 50 staffs and in other business sector created job opportunities for more that 150 employee.  Thus her efforts not only make herself a successful entrepreneur and business leader but also create an employment opportunities for many unemployed peoples especially underprivileged women.

This successful and dynamic business leader will speak in this event about her challenging entrepreneurship journey for inspiring the young entrepreneurs of the country.
